Puteri Gunung Ledang: The Musical won a total of eight awards, including the Audience Choice Award for theater, at the Fifth Annual Boh Cameronian Arts Awards 2006 last night.
Puteri Gunung Ledang: The Musical, presented by Enfiniti Productions, also bagged awards for Best Director (Zahim Albakri and Adlin Aman Ramlie), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Sukanya Venugopal) and Best Music and Sound Design (Dick Lee).
Eight special awards were also given out, including the Lifetime Achievement Award which went to renowned literary figure, theatre director and script-writer Datuk Syed Alwi.
