FRESH from their first ever collaboration at the recent Anugerah Industri Muzik 14, ‘Papa Rock’ Ramli Sarip and pop phenomenon Mawi will again take centre stage at the upcoming Konsert Karnival Amal Pulau Pinang.
The carnival, supported by the Penang State Government and organised by Koperasi Ikatan Muafakat Ummah Pulau Pinang Berhad, Kelab Ikhwan Pulau Pinang and Hatibudi Events, will be held at the Penang International Sports Arena (Pisa) on Saturday at 9.30pm.
With the concept of ‘humanity, economy and charity’, the concert will have Ramli and Mawi entertaining the crowd with their hits besides teaming up with children from orphanages as well as senior citizens from old folks homes.
Seventy per cent of the ticket sales will be donated to these organisations.
Besides Ramli and Mawi, the carnival will also include Penang-born singer Nurul and rocker Awie.
Fans of reality talent search programme Akademi Fantasia (AF), can also expect to get up close with AF 4 finalists, Zila, Nora and Karen.
Tickets priced at RM30 are available at all promotion booths in Kompleks Bukit Jambul, Prangin Mall and Prai Megamall Penang until Thursday.
