In the highly anticipated second episode of the Desire Series of WEVents, celebrity hair stylist Winnie Loo performed a hair makeover on three women transforming them into gorgeous goddesses in Zouk Café Bar, The Gardens, Mid Valley.
Loo, founder and chief creative director of A Cut Above Group of Salons and Academy, is a veteran hair stylist with almost three decades of experience in setting trends and transforming scores of women into beautiful and confident people. Besides the makeover, Loo gave the rest of the ladies at the event useful tips on hair care and shared suitable hairstyles to match different face shapes.
“Hairstyle is not just about getting another haircut when it is time,” Loo said.
“It’s about creating the right image that is part and parcel of a woman’s identity.”
Aptly themed Gorgeous Hair for a Gorgeous You, the second WEVents Desire series saw participating sponsors from companies such as Zouk Café Bar, A Cut Above Group of Salon and Academy, Kerastase and Beauty Works.
WEVents is proud to have Loo spend time to share about hair with so many women in a fun setting. It is for this simple reason WEVents was born — to give working women an outlet to “vent” their joy on only what women understand and like to talk about.
The Desire Series of the event answers the call to attend to women’s desire for fashion, fun and friendships in business.
WEVents is truly an all women affair as the events are only open to working women and organized by working women volunteers. As Jeanisha Wan, founder and marketing director of WEVents put it, “Only a woman knows what a woman wants.”
WEVents will stage a showing every three months in different fun locales to attend to various themes that appeal to women.
