Jewellery and more for the season
FASHIONISTAS who cannot get enough of dazzling jewellery, clothes and accessories should mark April 28 to May 2 on their calendars.
The Spring Summer Fashion Season, presented by Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) and 15 of its retailers, will charm fashion lovers with its latest collection of luxury jewellery, semi-precious gemstones, fashion wear and accessories.
In a recent preview recently, Mori Pin revealed three ranges of jewellery — the Coral, Butterfly Wings and Flora — crafted by jeweller and artist Jonathan Yun.
Inspired by the fragile coral, vibrant butterfly wings and bountiful nature, the exquisite pieces are timeless creations.
Oriental Links, which made its name in jewellery bags, presented its Michelangelo range.
Handbags, wallets and name card holders made of the finest Italian leather are adorned with colourful jewels for added elegance and class.
Fa’iq Jewels also showcased its solitaire diamonds and a special range of coloured gems.
Mohamed Fadhil Fazal Ellahi, one of the five designers in the company, said the gems like rubies, sapphires and emeralds were sourced from around the world.
Local celebrity Daphne Iking appeared in Intoxi-Kate’s Urban Warrior collection, with emphasis given on strong shoulders and bold curves.
“It’s about empowering women with glamorous amour so they can conquer the world in style,” Kate’s Closet’s Audrey Kathleen Chong said.
Meanwhile, frills, ruffles, puffy sleeves, folds and pleats took centre stage in The Mod House’s collection this season.
Themed Return to Romantic, soft dreamy colours have been picked for a chic and feminine style.
The rest of the retailers taking part are Amita Pearls, Elegance Club, Time Pacific, Gemma Discoveries, Dodo Art & Craft, Ethnic Borders, Poya, Uluwatu and Gina’s Collection.
